Mouse Spinal Cord

In response to requests from the spinal cord research community and with funding support from a diverse array of donors, the Atlas provides a baseline map of the normal mouse when used to compare gene expression in diseased or injury models.

First unveiled in July 2008, the database now has 12,500 genes in both the adult and juvenile. In addition to basic viewing mechanisms, some new features of this application include the ability for side-by-side view and comparison across data sets, colorized expression mask for each ISH image, and the ability to download high resolution images.

Detailed technical documents and lists of funders and scientific contributors to this project can be found under the Mouse Spinal Cord project tab.
